End Of The World Train – Tourist Class – Summer – Ushuaia

In this tour, you’ll board the section that transported prisoners from Ushuaia to their work areas. You’ll hear the intriguing story onboard the beautiful steam train Maria Fumaça as it retraces the final stretch of this journey, offering stunning and exclusive landscapes!

While waiting to board, we have the opportunity to explore the beautiful End of the World Station, filled with details about its remarkable history. There’s also a snack bar and a souvenir shop.

Once aboard the Maria Fumaça, we’ll experience a unique moment where the nature seen from the window blends with the history we hear about the Ushuaia prisoners, who for years used the railway to reach their workplaces. It’s truly moving to hear this story while crossing the unusual landscape by train.

The route covers 7 km, passing through an area inaccessible to other means of transport. From the End of the World Station, the train follows along the Pipo River, reaching Macarena station, where it makes a stop. Characters dressed as prisoners ensure memorable photos and fun at the location.

Observations
It’s necessary to arrive 30 minutes in advance for boarding.

If you choose only the train ride, we suggest taking a taxi or one of the available vans in the city to travel from Ushuaia to Tierra del Fuego National Park.
