Itinerary
On this tour, you will travel along the same railway section once used by Ushuaia’s prisoners to reach their work areas. Aboard a charming steam train, you will hear this fascinating story while enjoying unique and exclusive landscapes.
Before boarding, you will have time to explore the End of the World Train Station, full of historical details, as well as a café and a souvenir shop.
Once on board, you will experience a special moment where the natural scenery seen through the windows blends with the stories about the former prisoners who used this railway for many years to reach their workplaces. It is truly moving to cross these unusual landscapes while reliving this history.
The route covers approximately 7 km, crossing areas inaccessible by other means of transportation. From the End of the World Station, the train follows the Pipo River to Macarena Station, where it makes a stop. There, actors dressed as prisoners provide fun photo opportunities.
