End of the World Train – Tourist Class – Winter – Ushuaia

On this tour, you will board the section that transported Ushuaia’s prisoners to their work areas. You will hear all this curious history on board the beautiful steam train “Maria Fumaça,” which retraces the last part of this journey, while enjoying unique and exclusive landscapes.

While waiting to board, you will have the chance to explore the beautiful End of the World Station, full of details about its remarkable history. There is also a café and a souvenir shop.

Once on board the Maria Fumaça, you will experience a unique moment, where the nature seen from the window blends with the story of Ushuaia’s prisoners, who for years used the railway to reach their work sites. It is truly moving to cross this unusual landscape while hearing the story.

The route covers 7 km, passing through an area inaccessible to other means of transportation. From the End of the World Station, the train follows the Pipo River, arriving at Macarena Station, where it makes a stop. Characters dressed as prisoners provide fun and photo opportunities.
