Scenic Flight with Stop in Tolhuin – Ushuaia

This private scenic flight offers a unique opportunity to see Tierra del Fuego’s most iconic sites from above, including the Beagle Channel and its islands, Laguna Esmeralda, Lakes Escondido and Fagnano, Estancia Haberton, and the village of Puerto Williams, all framed by the majestic Andes Mountains.

The flight includes a landing in Tolhuin, a small town in Tierra del Fuego, historically inhabited by the Selk’nam people.

The journey begins at Ushuaia’s old airport, where your pilot provides route details and safety instructions before takeoff. The flight passes Monte Olivia, the Valle de Tierra Mayor, the famous Laguna Esmeralda, and Cerro Castor, Ushuaia’s main ski center.

Flying along Ruta 3, the tour reaches the Paso Garibaldi viewpoint to see Lago Escondido and continues to Lago Fagnano (Kami) for spectacular aerial views. The flight passes Lago Yehuin, Chepelmut, and Sierra Beauvoir before landing in Tolhuin.

After exploring Tolhuin, the flight returns across the Andes to Estancia Haberton. The return to Ushuaia includes overflights of the Beagle Channel, Martillo and Isla Grande (home to penguins), Puerto Williams, the Dientes de Navarino rock formation, Puerto Almanza, Estancia Remolino, the Monte Sarmiento shipwreck, and the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, also known as the Lighthouse at the End of the World.

The flight concludes with a scenic approach back to Ushuaia, providing unforgettable views of the city and surrounding landscapes.
