1-Hour Scenic Flight – Ushuaia

This private scenic flight offers a unique aerial perspective of Tierra del Fuego’s most stunning locations, including the Beagle Channel and its islands, Laguna Esmeralda, Lakes Escondido and Fagnano, Estancia Haberton, and the village of Puerto Williams, all framed by the Andes Mountains.

The tour begins at Ushuaia’s old airport, where the pilot provides an overview of the route and safety instructions. The flight heads toward Monte Olivia and enters the Valle de Tierra Mayor to view the famous Laguna Esmeralda and Cerro Castor, Ushuaia’s main ski center.

Along the route, the pilot narrates the sights below. Flying along Ruta 3, the journey reaches the Paso Garibaldi viewpoint for spectacular views of Lago Escondido and continues to Lago Fagnano (Kami). The town of Tolhuin appears on the lakeshore before the flight crosses the Andes again to the picturesque Estancia Haberton.

The return leg includes overflights of Martillo and Isla Grande, home to penguins, and follows the Beagle Channel past the Chilean village of Puerto Williams. The flight also offers views of the Dientes de Navarino rock formation and Puerto Almanza’s fishing structures on the Argentine coast.

Flying over Estancia Remolino, participants can see the Monte Sarmiento shipwreck from 1912 and the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, known as the Lighthouse at the End of the World. The tour concludes with a scenic approach back to Ushuaia, providing unforgettable city and landscape views.
