Itinerary

Discover the peoples who challenged the End of the World!

We start our adventure around 4:00 PM, departing from the VIP Lounge (or 5:00 PM in front of the restaurant). We will be waiting for you at our VIP Lounge and then head out along the famous Route 3, where we can see the Olivia River, named after Mount Olivia — the highest mountain in the entire region.

After admiring the landscape for a few minutes, we continue toward Park Austral — a winter center designed for Brazilians, offering activities all year round.

The adventure begins with an exciting quad bike ride through the snow, about 25 minutes of pure adrenaline, surrounded by stunning white landscapes that awaken the spirit of exploration and adventure.

Then, we follow a magical trail to the refuge, surrounded by snow-covered mountains and endless horizons, setting the perfect scene for the cultural and gastronomic immersion that awaits us.

Upon arriving at the refuge, you will be welcomed with unlimited drinks (wine, soft drinks and water) and lamb empanadas, while our bonfire warms the atmosphere and fascinating stories of the peoples of Tierra del Fuego are revealed, making each tale come alive and truly exciting:

  • Selk’nam (or Onas): Known for their Hain ceremonies, where young people were initiated into complex rituals with body paintings and masks representing spirits of nature. They lived in nomadic tribes, hunting guanacos and adapting to the extreme conditions of Patagonia.
  • Yámana: Skilled canoeists who navigated the icy channels of the region, surviving on fishing and shellfish gathering, in perfect harmony with the sea and its tides. Their courage and skill turned every journey into a lesson of survival and respect for nature.
  • Haush: Inhabitants of the extreme southeast of the island, masters of hunting and fishing, who traveled long distances in search of food, developing sophisticated techniques to face the intense cold and challenging terrain.
  • Alakalufes (or Kawésqar): Nomads of the sea who crossed the Patagonian channels in canoes, knowing every cove and current with impressive intimacy with the ocean and its riches. Their stories speak of courage, resilience and a deep connection with the maritime environment.

Each story is accompanied by details about their beliefs, rituals, survival strategies and ways of life, making you feel part of this ancient history.

Dinner at the Refuge

After being enchanted by the stories, the experience continues with a complete meal:

  • Starter: Empanadas
  • Main course: Lentil stew and unlimited drinks (wine, soft drinks or water)
  • Dessert: Patagonian Delight
  • Live music: Original songs from Ushuaia played on acoustic guitar, creating a magical atmosphere

In the end, we return with unforgettable memories, hearts full of stories, flavors and landscapes that only Tierra del Fuego can offer.

More than a tour, this is a sensory, cultural, gastronomic and adventurous experience, capable of touching the soul and revealing the untamed spirit of those who lived in Tierra del Fuego for thousands of years.
