Mini Adventure and Snow with Snowmobile + Ski Lesson + Spit-Roasted Lamb and Buffet Lunch

This is an excursion for incredible snow experiences, such as driving a snowmobile in breathtaking scenery and the unique experience of learning and practicing cross-country skiing, also known as Nordic skiing or cross country. Are you ready for this adventure? Come with us!

We pick up our passengers at their accommodations and then start the journey along the beautiful Ruta 3 to our winter center Park Austral, the only winter center for Brazilians by Brazilians. Upon arrival, we will all be greeted with a delicious hot chocolate and then begin our adventure.

Before we start with the snowmobiles or cross-country skiing, let’s first split the group, with one group going for the snowmobile ride and the other group heading for the cross-country skiing lesson. Both will have a beautiful walk through snow-covered forests with typical Patagonian trees, a spectacular scenery perfect for photography enthusiasts, as it’s a majestic setting!

After about 20 minutes of this beautiful trail, the group going for the snowmobile ride will arrive at a completely different landscape, with snow-covered mountains in the background, a frozen stream, a rustic/Patagonian-style refuge, and that sigh of excitement for experiencing this beautiful adventure!

Next, the group will head to a bridge where the guide will assist them in handling the snowmobiles properly. From there, it’s all joy on a spectacular 5 km trail, about 25 minutes long, always going in pairs on each snowmobile, with a stop halfway for photos and to switch “drivers” if desired.

The other group that went to another area of Park Austral will put on their cross-country skiing equipment and receive a real lesson on how to handle the equipment and glide the skis on the snow, avoiding falls. It’s impossible not to enjoy this moment intensely and take beautiful photos for a lifetime.

The groups will switch adventures, and of course, those doing snowmobiles will head to the cross-country skiing area, and vice versa. After both groups have done the snowmobile ride, they’ll have time to enjoy a bit of the southern refuge, a very special place with a special energy. For those who wish, next to the refuge, as a courtesy, there will be time to “play” a bit of snow sledding. (Snow sledding will be done if possible, as the track needs to have enough snow to ensure the safety of the “adventurers”. There will be a Park guide present who will grant permission for snow sledding or not, as safety always comes first).

Whether or not this activity is available, which is complimentary, the setting is undeniably cinematic, so be sure to have your camera ready for lots of photos and videos.

The lunch included in the tour will be at the “AUSTRAL FIN DEL MUNDO” restaurant, where we will enjoy a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet lunch, filled with Brazilian options such as stroganoff, breaded chicken, rice, beans, salads, and of course, featuring the famous Patagonian lamb on the spit, with 1 dessert included. All options will be served unlimitedly and will leave you wanting more!

(The meal and activity times are not fixed, so the meal may happen before, between, or after the activities.)

After eating, we’ll give another 30 minutes for those who want to take more photos and/or visit the only gin bar/motorcycle museum in Patagonia and if you want to taste a gin made right there at Park Austral. (Entry to the motorcycle museum and gin tasting is subject to the availability of the venue, as it is not part of the company Brasileiros em Ushuaia).

After these incredible activities and the certainty of an unforgettable day, we’ll return to our transport to travel through Ruta 3 back to the city of Ushuaia, where we’ll drop off our clients in the city center or at the same accommodations where we picked them up.
